I just happened to check a caste based youth forum, weirdest thing, I know but can’t help to read aka think abt polls in such forums.. – leave the name of caste/religion, one poll there was interesting:

Response for No is slightly higher than yes, but what I felt disturbing is to read the following responses from 2 voters:

He1: As we know how cultural difference harm a person attitude. Think about you before you step into to life, Hope first you will think, how to safe guard your family through out your life on your shoulder.Do you think other caste people will safe guard our innocent girls on similar fashion.

Just wanted to tell He1: yup, cultural diff shocks.. but caste difference doesnt shock. Culture depends on outlook of the person, not the name of the caste in his docs!

He2: marriages among all x caste is well and good…its actually nice too but no other caste should be entertained…it actually spoils our culture….

Hey He2: So u r cool abt castea1 pal marrying castea2 pal, but casteb1 guy shouldn’t marry castea1 gal.. idea is kool.. only thing is its kind of adam-eve old fashioned.

Last year I just heard ppl telling me …

sumone: “Hey wat are ur plans for independence day weekend..??” though the country is alien to me, I was wondering why people are planning so much for one day holiday.. whereas back home, it was a mini Flag hosting in school days and a mere holiday with junk food == independence day/republic day watever.. never ever thought it meant so much..

But there is something different from this year.. no I am not goin to quit my *job* and sell flags door to door or relocate to kashmir to fly doves.. hmm.. but I am planning something.. lets see how things move..

I am still goin to sleep late and wake at the next day noon.. its never goin to change.. atleast the first half of the sentence.. till there is no power cut.. at nights..

Still in the practical life, highly respected and educated people think inter-caste/religion marriage is a sin. Such people don want to come and discuss wats the issue with it. They are just worried tat its something different and dono about the outcome of the same and think it wont work. We, humans literally know wats gud/bad in the true sense. We know to register a police case is the right thing to do after meeting with an accident.. but how many of us did that, even I never did tat. We know whats rite, but we don do it. jus don do it and blame everyone in the society. Wats religion/caste for afterall.. its for betterment of our lives nothing more, nothing less. If tats not helping why to worry abt the same… I don think am rational.. am still conservative. But this doesn’t come to a rational point of view. Its jus logical.

To those who mind their caste/creed watever .. a simple punch line “Time doesn’t wait if u are xxx religion and doesnt end if u are in xxxx religion.. Everything in life is same mate, watever, wherever,whoever !”

Always I feel happy when I hear the sound/noise/music tat a rain makes.. It really makes me feel happy and sleep more

Point is these days its really raining more and am sleeping bit too much than wats expected out of a twenty something gal.. but it jus happens.. cant help..

I hear dad tell me he s not sleepy sometimes, but tats not the end of the story.. he sleeps jus after few seconds.. he tells the same. hehhehe

Only thing tat strike me, ever since I had a critically acclaimed dream.. Here goes the dream..

In which a street sleeper jus sits, eats (if possible) and dozes in the street… I giv him a rupee each day when I go to school, when I come back from school he won’t be there.. he jus wont be there… But next day morning he wil b jus in time to grab his share of a rupee from me.. This goes on for months together. One it starts to rain and it rains continuously for a week.. I almost forgot the street sleeper.. Finally rain s drained and flood s flushed.. and schools starts ringing bells.. I get up and go out with my one rupee to see the guy missing.. surprising since he was never late.. next day also he was not there.. day after.. and a few more days.. Finally I hear he s dead with some flu due to rain, I wake up tears in my eyes .. and near by my bed I see a 1 rupee coin.. it took me 10 mins to realise its a dream..

Frm tat day.. wenever I hear rain.. jus feel how it will be to live out tere without a cover … I cant do a bit to change this.. I jus think tat someone who is not havin shelter now should get it.. and the sound of rain should be happy noise for everyone.. and not something which makes them count their days..

No idea who invented the calling bell.. its always.. it always plays very funny important role in my life atleast so far..

Bell Rings Whenever am doin the following ….

• washing face, without an idea where my glasses are
• there is power cut
• sleeping
• eating in a position unable to get up immed
• above all happens when tere s no on n home

Dono how ppl know tat am doin the above stuff.. yesterday got bell ringing when I was sleeping.. went and saw it was a courier guy.. to my surprise he was very angry.. started shouting at me telling some crap, din understand a bit.

Finally he told “If u hadn’t come now, I would hav gone”

I jus thought, even after I came he is jus goin.. ennamo solran, cant get the point..

Early Morning at about 10:30 Am, got a phone call.. was pissed off like how tom feels when hit with hammer by jerry..

k.. coming to the point… jus thought some airtel/vodafone junk call.. didnt attend it. after few secs again call frm the same number.. now i opened my eye to see that it was a landline number.. ok let me attend..

Me: hello..

Other End: Hello Madam can I talk to Archana Madam..???!!

Me: yes madam.. (remember am stil sleeping .. bzzzz!)

Other End: We have an excellent job opportunity from one of the top MNC in India. Its a CMM level-5 company madam, which requires the following skill set.. Are u gud at shell scripting and perl madam

Me: yes… (bzzzz!)

Other End: U are comfortable in working with unix background, and also solaris..

Me: yes (bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!)

It was my dream I din wake up still.. and phone was stil ringing with some mobile number.. ok let me chk whether my dream s some deja vu stuff.. attended the call with utmost interest..

Me: woke up completely.. with utmost perfection in voice .. here goes c’mon.. hello..

Other End: Some music.. then “Airtel offers u unlimited talktime with blah blah blah…” oh.. again a bad day with airtel ad call

Watever.. why did jaipur come into picture… huh got it.. was looking at our family trip to jaipur snaps the previous nite before sleep.. too much..

Finally concluded.. its a remix of dejavu and real flash back.. hehehe
