WebSite URL Redirection

So thats the known fact which i came to know today from Rajesh who is doing his MCA over there in VLB. He has got some quite interesting tech facts abt website creation , which iam bit weak. Got the URL from that redirection site.. it sounds interesting. Though registered for url need to develop the site so that i can direct it.. now i have directed it to my blog. but i know it will not be the permanent one. Planning one for my school and class and ofcourse for LUG /NUG and myself..:D

MS Newsletter

Got the MS newsletter and the first review wil be the internal one and the second one will be on feb. intenal review details will be given in the web by nov 15 as per the newsletter, so neednt hurry with it now. The mentor should be consulted with the internal review form and it must be submitted by dec 31. will do it in sem hols, got some solid 10 days time. Neednt do in hurry but much be consulted with the mentor this thing as soon as i get the details frm MS site. Regarding the rejection, there wont be any rejection as stated in the MS site, so suppose if we do well, we can showcase our project in a big banner MS..

Need to talk abt this more and learn more, i think better i start with c# after this testing is documented, and the funny thing is i have not yet started with my sem preparations.. hheheheh

Is SNMP Unreliable?

I have learnt last sem that TCP is the most reliable of protocols, then i dont get the concept of placing the most important SNMP over UDP
Jus now completed learning the SNMP architechture and message transfer and dono why this is placed over the unreliable UDP. They say its becas of the simplicity, but is simplicity a matter of consideration in network management? I saw this word Simplicity more than 3 or 4 times in object type specification too. So SNMP which enables the network to be managed more efficiently is over the UDP. And they provide proxies for enabling the other protocol based applicatiosn to interact with SNMP.

This personally gives a boost to my project ITP, and hope this can be stated as point when they ask abt the inefficiency of UDP. I cant understand the time delay that may be occuring over here in UDP, and how they manage the inconsistency over here.. Matter of some book reading and geeky thinking required at this Juncture

How do i set path iam not getting that right as i do for java c# sounds similar to java, but it doeasnt need to name the program as that of the public class as we do in java, sounds interesting.

Iris Recog – Modification

DR who mailed me abt this didnt turn up to my 3rd mail after i said this is my paper and no my project, I dono why people ( prof and high tech ppl) dont give much importance when i say its the paper and not my project they jus ignore and stop guiding. I jus struck with a better idea in iris recog system, which works with scenario like this,
it jus accepts the iris as image and compares with the exisiting irises in the DB provided using the software. I thought of getting the iris patterns of both the eyes and doing a XOR on the pattern and compare so that it can be more efficient. I asked to the DR who introduced it in India reg this, he didnt reply, s i really dono whether there is any existing system for this or this is a new idea, or anyother sort of comment

I was really sad this paper was not selected in the DUOFET 04 in PEC chennai, though i dont want to pressurise my friends to select it, i cant get the idea behind the rejection. may be they needed more tech papers huh..

Wat does RFC mean in Protocol Development?

I really couldnt get the answer for this question..?
i dono wat the real reason behind this RFC thing, is is an organisation or somethings like that? Never ever thought abt this RFC..( Iam lil bit weak technically..heheh) i was asked abt the RFC when i presented the idea of doing ITP ( Image Transport Protocol) .. though i explained everyother thing i couldnt get over this RFC, still couldnt understand, posted in various geeky grps, no response till now..

what should i actually do, try to get the consent frm some medium b4 developing a protocol? or anything similar to it.. huh pls answer GOOD GOD!!!!!!!

GNU Vs MS ?

heheh iam one of them singing OSS song for ever..
hmm but wats this the MS people are getting more Indian studets under their grab .. thru various scholarship progs etc.. yeah Stud champs really feel they are in a way honoured.
Iam no way related to both MS and OSS. I jus use the software that gives more to me. More can mean,==> satisfaction, ease of use, ease in deployment, security, etc… I use both OSS and MS pdts, but i feel bad in using pirated MS pdts, but wat a silly poor college stud can do ??

MS people should think of giving atleast students the previlage of using the s/w , hope this comes in to real time impl soon..
